ECMV3 is our lockable roof bar range for vehicles fitted with factory fixing points in the roof — vehicles that have no roof rail at all. Supplied in black and grey, with locks and keys included.

What is a fixed point roof?

Fixed points are threaded mounting points built into the roof edge at the factory. They are normally hidden under small plastic covers, or sit just inside the door opening under the rubber seal. There is no rail on the roof: the bar feet bolt straight down into those points, which is why this type of fitting is so secure. If your roof is completely smooth with no covers and no rails, you need clamp-fit bars that grip inside the door frames instead.
